Work Package 6 focuses on the design and implementation of specialized training methodologies using Rhetoric Speech Games to promote children’s rights education and democratic participation. Its core aim is to empower children aged 10–18 by enhancing their critical thinking, public speaking, and civic engagement through structured, participatory, and age-appropriate speech-based activities.
Key objectives include:
- Raising awareness among children about their rights, particularly within democratic contexts.
- Encouraging active participation in decision-making at local, national, and European levels.
- Training educators (teachers) and youth workers to deliver inclusive and effective rhetoric-based education.
- Providing tools and spaces for children to engage in structured dialogue and debate.
The protocol D6.1 sets out a structured methodology for implementing rhetoric speech games and debate activities with children aged 10–18, including training educators, running child-friendly modules, organizing debates and evaluation, and using these activities to support migrant children’s language development, self-expression, rights awareness, and democratic participation.
